HELLO! SOUVENIR EDITION GETS ROYAL SEAL OF APPROVAL FROM UNCLE HARRY

HELLO! magazine's special souvenir edition to celebrate the birth of Prince George has had the royal seal of approval from the little boy's proud uncle, Prince Harry.

The charming 28-year-old was given a sneak peek at the latest issue of HELLO! by editor Rosie Nixon as he attended the Sentebale 'Stories of Hope' photograph exhibition at the Getty Gallery — and he looked absolutely delighted with the result.

The celebratory issue — number 1288 — is on sale now featuring stunning new photographs of the new Cambridge family, and unrivalled coverage of the Prince's arrival into the world.

On Thursday, Harry visited the central London 'Stories of Hope' exhibition, which features a series of touching images taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson. The photographs capture the hard work that goes on at Sentebale to improve the lives of the vulnerable children of Lesotho.

Sentebale is a cause very close to Harry's heart — he founded the charity with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2007 after visiting the country on his gap year and being compelled to help vulnerable children who are often victims of poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

They came up with the name Sentebale, which means 'forget-me-not' in Sesotho, the language of Lesotho.

While Harry was no doubt delighted to celebrate the charity's incredible work, the arrival of Prince George was also on his mind.

Joking that he hoped his brother Prince William knew "how expensive my baby sitting charges are", he vowed to teach his nephew to have fun as he attended the private viewing.

"When I saw him he was crying, which is just like all babies," he said of his first meeting with the newborn Prince. "It's fantastic to have another addition to the family. I only hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are!"

Asked what kind of an uncle he wanted to be, besotted Harry replied, "to make sure he has a good upbringing and to keep him out of harm's way and to make sure he has fun. The rest I'll leave to the parents!"

TAXI DRIVER REVEALS DELIGHT AT PICKING UP CAROLE AND MICHAEL MIDDLETON AFTER THEY METGRANDSO PRINCE GEORGE

The taxi driver who picked up Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton after they met Prince George for the first time has spoken of her delight at being a part of the historic day.

Tracy Mitchell, who collected Kate Middleton's parents from the Lindo Wing on Tuesday afternoon, described them as "very down to earth people".

As proud first-time grandmother Carole spoke to the press about their "absolutely beautiful" grandson, Tracy had no idea who was about to get in the back of her cab.

Tracy's bright blue cab can be seen in the background

The 49-year-old, who has been a taxi driver since January, drove the thrilled pair back to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's London residence at Kensington Palace.

"They chatted amongst themselves and she spent much of the journey on the phone," Tracy told the Telegraph. "When we got to the other end I congratulated them on the arrival.

"It was the most important passenger I’ve ever had. Our future king's grand-parents — you don't get much more important than that other than real royalty."

Tracy received a call at 4pm and was told to go to St Mary's Hospital, Paddington where William and Kate had welcomed their baby son into the world on Monday.

However, she did not realise that she would be picking up the grandparents of the future King on the momentous day he was introduced to the world.

"I had my hair up and sunglasses on my head and I thought 'Oh my god'," she said.

"I said to the press officer: 'I wish I’d have known I was going to get this call today — I’d have done my hair'."

"The next thing I get another call from a press officer asking me what car I was in, the colour of the cab and that sort of thing.

"When I got there it was like Secret Squirrel — you're going to do this, you're going to do that."

"It wasn't until I got there and I was told that it was Kate’s mum and dad I was picking up, well, you really could have knocked me down with a feather to be honest with you. I was really quite taken aback by it."

"I took them through Hyde Park where there are speed humps," she told the Evening Standard. "I was conscious of not bumping them about and of slowing down. I was on my best behaviour."

PRINCE CHARLES IS ENORMOUSLY PROUD TO BE A GRANDFATHER

Prince Charles has said he's "enormously proud and happy" about the birth of his grandson, the future King of England.

"Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild," a statement from the Prince of Wales read. "It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.

"Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone's life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future."

Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed a baby boy at 4:24pm at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.

The news was greeted by huge cheers from the onlookers who had gathered outside the hospital and Buckingham Palace.

The baby boy weighed 8lb 6oz. Mother and baby are said to be doing well and Kate will remain in hospital overnight. The Duke of Cambridge was present at the birth, and is expected to spend the night with his wife and newborn son in the Lindo wing.

From early Monday morning when it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge was in labour, Prince Charles was in a jolly mood. The future King spent the day on a public engagement in Yorkshire, happily accepting gifts for his grandchild.

Members of the public shouted "Congratulations" to Charles who had been visiting the glaziers' workshops.

He walked over to one woman, smiling, and said: "Do you know something I don't?"

Another well-wisher, John Dowson, from York, shouted: "It's triplets!", prompting Charles to chuckle and go over to him for a chat.

John said: "I felt like saying 'Congratulations, sir, it's triplets!' - just for a bit of fun. He just laughed. He was really jolly. Everybody's so excited in the country for him. Let's see what happens."

KATE MIDDLETON GIVES BIRTH TO BABY BOY WITH PRINCE WILLIAM BY HER SIDE

Kate Middleton and Prince William have welcomed a baby boy. "We could not be happier," said the Duke of Cambridge, who was at his wife's side when she gave birth. The beautiful boy, who is third in line to the throne, was delivered at 4:24pm on Monday afternoon at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.

The news was greeted by huge cheers from the onlookers who had gathered outside the hospital and Buckingham Palace.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4.24pm," said a statement from Kensington Palace. "The baby weighs 8lb 6oz.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall,  Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well and will remain in hospital overnight."

The announcement of the royal birth was made via a press release sent out by Kensington Palace. The royal household made a last-minute change of plan to relay the news in this way first, rather than following royal tradition by making the announcement on an easel outside Buckingham Palace.

They did still announce the news on the easel, too, and excitement was at fever pitch when William and Kate's Press Secretary Ed Perkins appeared just after 8.30pm on the steps of the private Lindo Wing clutching a red leather folder containing the official document.

Written on Buckingham Palace-headed notepaper, the historic document had been signed by Kate's doctors Marcus Setchell and Alan Farthing.

The press secretary walked down the steps straight to a waiting car to deliver the precious declaration, which was then whisked to Buckingham Palace, arriving through the main gates with a police escort.

Following the happy announcement, Prince Charles expressed his pride and joy at becoming a grandfather for the very first time.

“Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild," the Prince of Wales said on Monday evening.

Doctor Marcus Setchell, the Queen's former gynaecologist, has described the new arrival as a "wonderful baby, beautiful baby".

It remains to be seen what William and Kate decide to name their firstborn. Prince Charles and Princess Diana announced Prince William's name seven days after he was born, while Prince Harry's name was confirmed the day he left hospital.

The new royal baby will carry the title of His Royal Highness Prince of Cambridge.

On Monday, Britain awoke to the exciting news that Kate had been admitted to St Mary's Hospital in the early stages of labour. A royal convoy was spotted arriving at the hospital's rear entrance at around 6am, and at 7.30am Kensington Palace confirmed the news the world had been waiting for.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour," the statement read. "The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."

While the baby's due date was never announced, it is thought that the little Prince was around a week overdue.

The public will now excitedly await their first glimpse of the little newborn, and his delighted parents, who are expected to proudly introduce the baby boy to the world on the steps of the Lindo wing.

SIKU YA KUZALIWA YA MANDELA KUSHEREHEKEWA LEO HUKU AKIWA MAHUTUTI HOSPITALINI

Johannesburg: “Happy birthday Mzee Madiba.”
